Counselling and Psychotherapy are types of talking therapy that provide opportunities for people to explore and work through issues that are impacting their mental wellbeing.
Sessions are conducted in a trusting, confidential environment. I won’t tell you what to do but by providing a non-judgmental, safe place for you to talk, we can explore together what is going on for you. Where appropriate we can work together to help you process or resolve difficult or painful emotions. If you would like to gain clarity, feel more empowered or confident in your feelings and emotions or feel more at peace with a difficult experience or circumstance, therapy might be for you.

I am so glad to have you here. To set up an initial session with me, please email me or fill in the form on my contact page. From there I can answer any questions, set up a free 15 minute exploratory call or book you in for your initial appointment.

Face to face, online and telephone sessions last 60 minutes and cost £55.
My preferred method of payment is bank transfer but I can also accept cash on arrival. Payment is taken upon booking for our first session and is due by the start of our sessions thereafter.
Please let me know as early as possible if you are unable to make your appointment. I will try and reschedule your session if possible. Cancellations or missed sessions are charged at the session rate if notified less than 48 hours from the time of the appointment.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to explore together why you are seeking counselling, how we might work together and whether I am the right therapist for you. There isn’t any obligation to continue with the sessions after our initial meeting.
If you would like to continue after our first session then we would arrange a regular session for us to work together. I provide both time-limited and open ended therapy sessions face-to-face, by telephone or online.

Not at all. I offer open-ended or fixed-term sessions to suit your needs. There isn’t any obligation to continue sessions once we’ve begun and we will review this regularly together.
